If you've been using Windows 10 for some time, you already know that Microsoft has incorporated many new features into it| You will be familiar about other major changes like new start menu, Cortana (vice assistant), Edge browser (internet explorer place|
However, there are some new features that most people are not talking about, but they are equally important. While it's not a secret, they don't appear, and you may never have seen them.
This is some of my favorite but less famous features of Windows 10, which you should know for a better overall experience of Windows 10|
Here are the seven most useful, productive, hidden but useful features that list|
1.Smart Way To Take Screenshots In Windows 10:
Taking a screenshot can be very useful, and in Windows 10 you can take screenshots in smart ways|
i) Use Snipping Tool to capture screenshots:
This is the built-in tool in Windows 10 to take screenshots| Using Snipping Tool is the easiest way to take screenshots in Windows 10 so far|
Type Snipping in the start menu to open the Snipping Tool and you'll see Snipping Tool| Or go to Start -> All Apps -> Windows Accessories -> Snipping Tool|
Capture a Snip/Screenshot:
Click the New button in the Snipping Tool or press Ctrl + PrtScn kij|
Now select the area to take a screenshot of|
Save it|
Snipping Tool Timer–
You can also take screenshots 1 to 5 seconds late in Snipping Tool| For this, click the Delay button and select 1 to 5 seconds|
ii) Improved Print Screen:
In Windows, you are well acquainted with Print Screen| But its capacity has been further enhanced in Windows 10|
If there are many windows open on the screen and you just have to take a screenshot of the window at the top, press Alt + PrtScn| This will only take a screenshot of the window at the top and not the entire desktop|
If you want to take several screenshots, it is better to save one screenshot by one, save the screenshot to the Siddhe folder| When you press Windows Key + PrtScn in Windows 10, the screenshot is saved to the screenshots folder of siddhe Picture Library| This will save you a lot of time and mehtan|
2.Quick Navigation Between Apps Using Alphabet Screen:
It is a very easy feature indeed. Suppose your PC has many programs and apps installed and it fills your start menu| It will take a long time to find an app on the Start menu at such times| To help users, Microsoft has given a Secret Alphabet screen in the Windows 10 Start menu|
Open the start menu and open the screen of the apps|
Now clicking on any alphabet will show you the list of apps headers|
Clicking on a letter will show all apps that are started with this letter|
3.Background App Manager:
By default, Windows 10 runs in all Aps backgrounds| But you can control which apps should run in the background|
To see which apps are running in the background, go to Settings > Privacy > Background apps| Here you can change the (On/Off) settings for each app|
4.Print to PDF
Windows has edited the ability to create PDF from a variety of files| You no longer need to download a third party software to create a PDF from the file|
By the way, the print function remains enabled by default| If it is not enabled, go to Control Panel>Programs and Features, and enable Microsoft Print to PDF|
Give a print command to make the documents file PDF and select Microsoft Print to PDF printer.
5.Offline Maps:
Inside the app settings is the option to download the map for offline use. This is a very useful feature when you are going to an unknown place and there is no Internet access| It will be much easier for you if you download the map before you go to such a place| In Windows 10 you can easily download the map|
To Download Offline Maps in Windows 10 –
Setting -> System -> Go to Offline map|
+ Click on the Download maps button|
Now select the state and download its map|
6.Change The Location Of Apps, Documents, Music And Videos:
By default, all programs in Windows are installed in C drives, as well as Documents, Music, and Videos in C drives| But if Windows is turned into a complete and has to be formatted, all this data on the C drive will be destroyed| That's why some users like this data on other drives| If you have one of them, Microsoft has made it easier for all of them to change the drive|
For this, just go to Settings -> System -> Storage, and select drives for apps, documents, music, pictures, and videos|
7.Analyze Disk Space:
If you want to know which apps or files are taking the most space in a hard disk partition, you can see it without any software in Windows 10|
Now, Microsoft has made itself a storage analyzer. Start Menu -> Settings -> Go to Storage section| From here, select the drive to analyze| They will be a list of file types in front of you in late, which will show how much space the content is taking depending on the category|
However, the tool is not as powerful as it was in the previous post about the Great Free Tools to analyze some"disk space| But it's quite easy and enough for a common user|
