 Railway Recruitment Board [ Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)] has released the RRB NTPC exam date . 35,208 posts for examination ( CEN 0l/20l9 ) , " starting on December 28 2020 in March 2021 " will end. A total of 1.26 crore students have applied for Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), Graduate & Under Graduate Posts  released in the year 2019 .

Railway RRB NTPC Exam Syllabus & Pattern 2021:

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB ) invited applications ( CEN 01/2019 ) on 28-02-2019 for the recruitment of "various non-technical popular categories (NTPC), graduate and undergraduate level " posts . But this exam was pending for a long time.


After the long struggle of the students, this examination will now be held from the beginning of 24 December 2020 till the end of March 2021 . 

 

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2021 :

Railway RRB NTPC Exam 2019 will be conducted in the following stages. 


  1. First Phase - Online Computer Based Test ( CBT -1 ).
  2. Phase II - Online Computer Based Test ( CBT-2 ).
  3. Third Stage * - Skill Test / Typing Test .
  4. Phase IV - Document Verification and Medical Examination .

  RRB NTPC First and Second Stage Examination(CBT 1 & 2) is mandatory for all posts.


* In Phase III, the skill test [ Computer Based Aptitude Test ] will be conducted for the posts of Station Master and Traffic Assistant. 

* In the third phase, Typing Skill Test will be conducted for the following posts. 


  • Junior Clerk Less Typist. 
  • Junior Time Keeper.
  • Accounts clerk cum typist. 
  • Senior Clerk Less Typist. 
  • Junior Account Assistant cum Typist. 
  • Senior Time Keeper. 

 Note - Train Clerk, Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Gordes, Senior Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Computer Based Test (CBT 1 & 2) for Commercial Apprentice will be called directly for Document Verification and Medical Examination . 

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern : CBT-1 

A common Computer Based Test (CBT-1) will be organized for all the notified posts in the first phase of RRB NTPC exam . 

In this , a total of 100 questions will be asked from three sections ( General Awareness, Mathematics and Reasoning ). For which a total time of 90 minutes will be fixed.



 The first phase of RRB NTPC CBT-1will be Screening Nature. In this, questions of Objective type with Multiple Choices will be asked. Negative marking will also be done in this phase, 1/3 marks will be deducted on each wrong answer.


Railway RRB NTPC Syllabus 2021:

In the first phase exam of RRB NTPC, questions will be asked from three sections ( General Awareness, Mathematics and Reasoning ).

The level of questions for CBT 1 will be according to the academic level fixed for the posts.

To be successful in any exam, it is very important to have knowledge of its latest syllabus. With the right syllabus and solid strategy, you will easily succeed in the exam. 

This course is the official syllabus of RRBs , which was released in the notification of RRB NTPC exam.

RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam 2021

The selection of candidates for RRB NTPC 's second stage CBT 2 will be based on the marks obtained in CBT 1 of the first phase. 

Selection for CBT 2 will be made at the rate of 20 times (may also increase / decrease) the Railway Recruitment Board-wise (RRBs) vacancies of candidates. 

Railway NTPC CBT 2 Exam will be conducted for all posts. The marks obtained in the CBT2 exam will be used for merit determination. 

The exam for which the third stage is not necessary, there will be a document verification / medical test directly after CBT 2.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern  : CBT 2

 Railway RRB NTPC Second Stage (CBT 2) Examination will also be conducted as Online Computer Based Test . The number of questions in this section will be different from the first stage exam. 

In this phase a total of 120 questions will be asked from three sections ( General Awareness, Mathematics and Reasoning ). 

Total time for this is 90 minutes. The official RRB NTPC exam pattern for this is the following.

RRB NTPC Phase III Examination:

 Third phase Skill Test ( Skill Test ) / Typing Test ( Typing Test will be held).

Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Computer Based Aptitude Test 

This exam will be conducted only for the posts of Traffic Assistant and Station Master. 

To qualify, students in CBAT must obtain a T-Score of at least 42 marks in each of the test batteries. 

The Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) will have questions and answer options in English / Hindi only. There will be no negative marking in it. 

Note - For the final merit list of the Station Master / Traffic Assistant, the marks obtained in Second Stage CBT (CBT-2) will be 70% and 30% of the marks obtained in Third Stage CBAT.

 Typing Skill Test: Typing Skill Test 

In the third phase, Typing Skill Test will be conducted for the following posts. 

  • Junior Clerk Less Typist. (Junior Clerk Cum Typist)
  • Junior Time Keeper. (Junior Time Keeper)
  • Accounts clerk cum typist. (Accounts Clerk cum Typist)
  • Senior Clerk Less Typist. (Senior Clerk cum Typist)
  • Junior Account Assistant cum Typist. (Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist)
  • Senior Time Keeper. (Senior Time Keeper)

Typing Skill Test will be conducted by qualifying nature. Marks obtained in this will not be added to make it merit. 

Candidates will only have to type 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on a personal computer. 


Railway RRB Exam Phase IV:

Document Verification and Medical Examination of the candidates will be conducted in the last phase of the examination. 

Document Verification / Medical Examination will be conducted only for the candidates who have succeeded in all stages of the Railway Recruitment Board Examination

. The following documents will be verified in Document Verification. 

  • Educational and community related certificates. 
  • Antecedents / Character related certificate. 

 Medical examination will be done by the medical team constituted by the Railway Recruitment Board.
