National Testing Agency (NTA) is fully ready to release NEET 2021 application form soon. NTA will issue NEET Application Form 2021 in online mode on official website ntaneet.nic.in NEET Application Form can be filled only by the candidates fulfilling NEET eligibility criteria. Students who do not complete NEET Eligibility Criteria 2021 will have their applications rejected.


 Only those students who have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination or are about to take the exam can apply for NEET 2021 entrance exam. All eligible candidates have to complete NEET registration 2021 before the last scheduled date. As per NEET 2021 update, NTA has not yet announced NEET 2021 registration date and NTA NEET 2021 exam date.

 NEET UG 2021 application form can be filled in five simple steps which include - NEET registration, filling application form, uploading scanned images, payment of application fee and taking printout of confirmation page. Over 15 lakh candidates register for NEET exam every year. Last year i.e. 15,97,435 candidates had registered for NEET 2020 test. Applicants must first complete the registration process in NEET Application Form 2021. After the NEET registration process, candidates have to fill the NEET application form details like personal, academic, NEET examination centers preferences, dress code etc. carefully. In NEET 2021 application form, candidates have to upload passport size photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression, postcard size photo and class 10 passing certificate. NEET registration fee 2021 can be paid in online mode only through credit / debit card, net banking or UPI payment gateway. Last year, the NEET application fee was increased to Rs.1500 for general category, Rs.1400 for EWS and NCL-OBC candidates and Rs.800 for SC / ST / OBC candidates.


NET provides the facility of NEET Application Correction window for editing personal, educational and contact details, uploaded images etc. in NEET registration. The NEET Correction window may be available in mid-week of 2021 February. The NEET 2021 exam is expected to be conducted on May 2 in offline mode.


NEET Application Form 2021 - Which details should be prepared in advance

Before filling the NEET 2021 application form it is necessary to keep some details and documents ready. Doing so will speed up the application process as well as the possibility of making mistakes. While filling the form, it should be ensured that the browser you are using is compatible. Other things to keep in mind while filling the NEET Application Form 2021 are:


  •     A valid mobile number
  •     A valid email address
  •     Details of class 10 and class 12 (marksheet, certificate, school details etc.)
  •     Correct spelling of father and mother's name
  •     Aadhar card number (last 4 digits)
  •     Board issued Class 12 Roll Number / Election Card Number (EPIC No.) / Passport Number / Ration Card Number / Bank Account Number or any other valid Government Identification Number
  •     Passport size photograph, and scanned images of signature and other documents (if requested). The details are given in the table below.
  •     Credit / debit card or net banking details (for online payment)

How to fill NEET Application Form 2021?


Steps to fill NEET 2021 application form are given below. Candidates are advised to follow these steps to avoid mistakes while filling NEET Application Form 2021.


Step 1: NEET Registration

To register NEET 2021, candidates have to enter their name, email ID and mobile number. A password should also be created as per the given specifications which will be required for all future logins. A Provisional NEET application number will be generated after registration. This will be the user ID that will have to be used to login.


The following details should be entered during NEET 2021 registration:

  •     candidate's name
  •     Mother's name
  •     father's name
  •     date of birth
  •     Gender
  •     the nationality
  •     State of eligibility
  •     Category
  •     Divvying (Person with Disabilities)
  •     Identity Type
  •     Identification number
  •     mobile number
  •     E mail ID


To complete NEET registration 2021, candidates have to verify the above details and then submit.

Choose Password: The next step is to choose a secure and strong password. It should also be retyped, given security related questions and chosen to answer it. OTP Verification: For NEET 2021 registration, the candidates must also click on the OTP verification and use the OTP sent to the registered mobile number.


Generating Provisional Application Number of NEET 2021 - After this the Provisional Application Number of NEET 2021 will be displayed. It should be noted and it will act as a log-in ID for all future log-in purposes.



Step 2: Filling in NEET 2021 application form

Candidates should fill the correct information according to the information given in the class 10 certificate. Other details to be filled in NEET Application Form 2021 are:

Section 1. 

Personal details: Some details will be displayed automatically by registration and cannot be changed. However, many other details have to be filled in the NEET application form:


  •     Candidate Name - Auto Generated
  •     Mother and Father Name - Auto Generated
  •     Gender - auto generated and cannot be changed during application correction
  •     Category - Auto generated and cannot be changed during application repair
  •     Date of Birth - Auto Generated
  •     Nationality - Can not be changed during auto generated and application correction
  •     Persons with Disability (PWD) - Auto generated and cannot be changed during application correction
  •     Are you from minority community?
  •     Are you suffering from diabetes type-1?
  •     Identity Type
  •     Identification number

Section 2. 

  • Place of Birth
  •     state
  •     District


Section 3.

 Option to choose the language of the question paper

Candidates can choose one language in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Urdu. It should be noted that with the exception of English, Hindi and Urdu, the option of other languages ​​will be available only if the NEET 2021 Examination Center is selected in the state of origin of that language.

The list of 155 test cities will be given as a drop-down list. Candidates must select at least four examination centers in order of their preference.

Section 8. 

Permanent Address

It is mandatory for the candidates to provide their residential address in the NEET 2021 application form. Here the registration number automatically shows the mobile number and email id.


Section 9. Correspondence address - If the candidate's permanent address and the correspondence ie temporary address is the same, then the candidates can fill the same details at both the places.


Section 10. Parent / Guardian Details - Candidates have to fill information about their parents' qualifications, occupation and annual income.


Section 11. Would you like to wear a traditional dress instead of following the dress code for taking the exam? Candidates who have the obligation of traditional dress should choose this option, but if it is not, select 'No'.


Section 12. Enter Security PIN and Submit - Candidates should enter the Security PIN and click on submit button.

Step 3: Uploading scanned documents and images


After filling the details in the NEET 2021 application form, the next step is to upload scanned copies of photographs and signatures and other documents.


Step 4: Payment of NEET Application Fees


NEET 2021 application fees could be paid only in online mode:

Online Payment: Through Debit / Credit / Net Banking and Integrated Payment Interface (UPI) using State Bank of India / Syndicate Bank / ICICI Bank / HDFC Bank / Paytm Service Provider.

Note: In case of online payment, keep the proof of payment in the form of transaction ID / receipt.

Rs.1500 for general category, Rs.1400 for EWS and NCL-OBC candidates and Rs.800 for SC / ST / OBC candidates.

Processing fees and Goods and Services Tax (GST) to be paid by the candidate (As applicable)


Step 5 - Print out of the acknowledgment receipt

Once the application fee has been paid, a confirmation page or acknowledgment receipt will be generated. This means that NEET 2021 application has been submitted successfully. A copy of the NEET acknowledgment or confirmation page will be sent to the candidates' registered email on the mobile number. Keep the candidate acknowledgment or confirmation page safe for future use.

  • Important documents to be kept safe till admission
  •     Printout of NEET 2020 confirmation page
  •     Proof of application fee payment
  •     6 to 8 copies of uploaded photo
  •     A copy of the system generated self-declaration for those candidates from Jammu and Kashmir who have opted for seats under the 15% All India quota.


How to retrieve NEET application form password?

In the event of forgetting or losing the password of NEET application form, it can be retrieved in two ways. However, for this, first you have to click on the "Forgot password" link. After this, two options will appear on the screen.


1. Through OTP: The candidates have to enter the following information


  •     NEET 2021 Application Number
  •     candidate's name
  •     date of birth
  •     Security PIN (case sensitive)


2. Through Security Question: For this option, candidates have to enter the following information


  •     NEET 2021 Application Number
  •     candidate's name
  •     date of birth
  •     Security question
  •     Answer
  •     Security PIN (case sensitive)


NEET Admit Card 2021

NEET 2021 Admit Card will be issued 15 days before the exam date in online mode. NEET  hall tickets must be downloaded using the required credentials. It is mandatory for the candidates to print out the NEET 2021 Admit Card and take the relevant documents to the examination center. Only successfully registered candidates can download NEET 2021 Admit Card which will mention the personal, exam details, date and time, name and address of the examination center, photo, signature and other information.
